The BOYA Notra is an AI-powered voice recorder designed to capture, transcribe, and organise conversations. Its slim, magnetic design allows it to attach to your phone or sit on a desk, making it ideal for meetings, phone calls, and lectures.

🛠 Quick Start Setup

1. Download the App: Search for "BOYA Notra" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Charge Your Device: Connect the included USB-C cable.

• Purple Light: Charging.
• Green Light: Fully charged.

3. Turn On & Pair:

• Power On: Press and hold the round button for 2 seconds until it vibrates.
• Pairing: Open the app and follow the prompts. A blinking blue light indicates pairing mode; a solid blue light means you are connected.

🎙 Recording Modes

The device features a physical slider switch to toggle between three specialised modes.

1. Ambient Mode (Meetings & Lectures)

• Purpose: Captures audio in a room from up to 10 meters away.
• Setup: Slide the switch to the Ambient icon.
• Recording: Press and hold the round button for 2 seconds. The light will turn solid red.

2. Phone Call Mode

• Purpose: Records both sides of a cellular or internet call using a built-in bone conduction sensor.
• Setup: Slide the switch to the Phone Call icon, then attach the Notra to the back of your phone using the magnetic mount.
• Recording: Start the recording before you place or answer your call.

3. Bluetooth Mode (Headsets & Virtual Meetings)

• Purpose: Records audio when you are using Bluetooth earbuds or attending a Zoom/Teams meeting.
• Set up: Slide the switch to the Bluetooth icon. Pair your earbuds to the Notra via the app settings.
• Recording: Ensure your audio is routing correctly through the Notra to capture the digital stream.
